La Bella Auto Steam Detail in Pocatello

BEWARE!

I had a full vehicle detail done at La Bella recently. To be fair and honest in this review, I'll start with the good. La Bella did a good job on the interior of my vehicle. I was pleased with the way that the interior turned out.

However, the exterior was atrocious! When I picked it up, there was wax all over the plastics of my vehicle that they had not bothered buff out. There were wax spots around the truck that were missed when they buffed it out. Then, the big one...they scratched my vehicle. I contacted the manager, Matt Baker, only to be met with is attitude. I explained that I had before pictures, and the results of the detail were scratched into my tailgate. After some discussion he advised that he would be able to easily buff out the scratches, so I agreed to drop the truck off to him for another day to right their wrong. I dropped the truck off before they opened and went to retrieve it after work...having not heard a word from them all day. When I got there, I looked at the tailgate and found that they weren't able to buff out the scratches they had put in...they instead painted over them with touch up paint. When I reached out to the manager, he advised that I was just looking for him to fix existing scratches, and that La Bella wasn't responsible. I find it ironic that they would be willing to spend time, energy and resources to fix something they didn't do, but then take a hard stance after they couldn't fix it! Matt advised me that he does 30 cars a week out of that facility and that losing my business wouldn't make any difference to him...I wonder what a few readers of this review will think.

Again, I strongly caution against leaving your vehicle, which you've made a significant investment in, with these amateurs! They may charge a professional price, but the work performed is rookie at best!
