AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care in Spokane Valley

Tried to scam my father!!! He took his truck in for some work. He explained that it was my parents only vehicle and that it needed fixed right away. Ryan at the front counter said the parts were only available from the Ford dealer, and was $750. Total estimate came to $998. Luckily, my father contacted me before having them do the work. I got all the parts for $115 from O'Reilly Auto parts. We called Ryan, just to confirm that he was quoting us the correct parts, and he again stated that they were $750. I even contacted the local Ford dealer, and they quoted me $166. I understand that they are a business, and have to make a profit, but this is outrageous!!! I will never do business with them, and will tell everyone I meet that they will take advantage of anyone!!! Shame on you!
